There are many ways to spread the word about the plight of animals in laboratories and education. Below are just a few examples.

Urge Others to Shop with Compassion

AAVS will be happy to send you free Compassionate Shopping Guides (limit 10 at a time) to pass out to friends, family, business partners, leave at restaurants, etc. You may also download a pocket-sized printable version of the Compassionate Shopping Guide here. The more consumers refuse to purchase from companies that test on animals, the greater their financial impact, which could spur a company to make the compassionate decision to adopt a non-animal testing policy.

Wear a Message

Wear your compassion and ideals for all to see. AAVS has a great selection of T-shirts that send a message. Be sure to check out our buttons, and bumper stickers as well.

Letters to the Editor

If you see an article in a newspaper or magazine that does not accurately represent the views of animal advocates, write a letter to the editor and express your displeasure. For letter writing tips please download our Activism brochure. Also, AAVS will be happy to help you write your correspondence. Let us know if your letter is published!

Banner Ads

If you host a website, or know someone who does, this is a great way to raise awareness about AAVS and its programs and campaigns. Simply copy the HTML coding from the web banner of your choice and paste it onto your website. Thank you for your help in promoting our work, and be sure to let us know when you place an ad on your site.

Print Ads

If you publish a newsletter or magazine, or want to run an advertisement elsewhere, please use one of our ads. Upon request, ad size can be modified to fit specific space requirements.

Tell Your Friends and Family

The more that issues surrounding the use of animals in research, testing, and education are discussed, the more educated and aware people will become. Request our publications to hand out, encourage others to sign up for our e-newsletter, Activate for Animals, Online and use your connections to educate those around you!
